Leon is the reigning Champion of the Galar region. The Unlimited Coach is a rock star for the people, and is the older brother to the player’s rival, Hop. In the Gen VIII title, players embark on a quest to one day defeat the legend.

Cosplayer ‘awesome_basket_‘shared her incredible transformation into her favorite character on Twitter. The artist nailed the signature of the Galar Champion, causing him to recreate his purple hair that sticks out from under his hat.

The Korean wore contacts to capture his see-through yellow eyes, and used creative makeup on her face to make his iconic sideburns and goat-like. She also sewed the cloak of Leon’s red and gold Champion, as well as his black hat resembling a royal crown.

AwesomeBasket shared another photo on their social media, this time taking a striking position as the Unlimited Trainer. The artist showed off her black-and-white striped jersey, which has a sword and shield emblem on the chest.

This is not the first time the cosplayer has portrayed her as a Sword & Shield character. In a Twitter post in July, the Korean posted a collage of her costumes of the sword exclusive Gym Leader Bea, Fighter of the water type Nessa, and Raihan.

Despite only being released in November, Sword & Shield has already become the third fastest-selling title in the franchise. It could even pass the current title in second place Gold and Silver, as it is only 4.8 million sales away.

Although it initially got off to a rocky start with the announcement of no national Pokedex, the latest Pokemon game seems to be winning fans and it has been a smash hit.
