Pokemon Sword and Shield Player shows what Galarian Lugia might look like

Later this year, Pokemon Sword and Shield‘s Tundra crown The expansion on Nintendo Switch will allow players to catch Galarian with the legendary Pokémon Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. As a result, all three Pokémon have had a major change in appearance, as well as new types that match their new designs. Reddit user EliteRobo04 envisioned a similar version of the legendary Pokémon Lugia. This time, Lugia would be a ghost / flying type, unlike the Johto version, which is a psychic / flying type. It would definitely be interesting to see this concept added to the game when the expansion launches later this year!

Overall, this is a pretty cool version of Lugia! The Pokémon originally debuted in 1999 Pokemon Gold and Silver, and has been one of the most popular Legendary Pokemon ever since. It should be noted that Lugia was also one of the stars of the second animated Pokemon movie, Pokemon The Movie 2000: The Power of One. Lugia appeared in that movie alongside Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, so it would definitely make sense for her to get a makeover of Galarian to match those other legendary birds. Lugia has also remained one of the most popular legendary Pokemon in the franchise, so this seems to be the kind of thing fans would embrace!

While the Tundra crown expansion will give Sword and shield Players have a chance to catch several additional Legendary Pokémon, at this time, it seems that only Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres will have Galarian variants. As such, fans should be aware that these are just fun concepts from a dedicated fan. In fact, EliteRobo04 has also created a number of other Pokémon concepts on Reddit, including Shiny acquires the latest legendary Pokémon, Zarude. Like Lugia, Zarude will also appear in a starring role in a Pokemon movie, the next one. Pokemon coco. Clearly, EliteRobo04 has a passion for redesigning Legendary Pokémon!
