The first event before Pokémon Go Fest is already live, and will take place from July 3 to July 8.
The event has added several Pokemon with party hats to the playlist, as well as a Pikachu that is lifted by balloons. Although this Pikachu is called “Flying Pikachu”, this time it is not a flying Pokémon.
The event also includes the launch of Ducklett and Swanna, two Pokémon from the Unova region, as well as the Shining shapes for the Pidove evolution line.
There is also a set of field research tasks that you can complete throughout the event.
