Plug for Ohio D-tackle; frosh and good early impression

Good evening Bucknuts subscribers! A lot is happening with Ohio State soccer recruiting, so let’s get started! Of course, I will have much more throughout the night and tomorrow.

1) In late May, I submitted a 2022 Ohio to consider, Kettering (Ohio) Disrupting the defensive tackle Derrick Shepard. Shepard had planned to camp in the state of Ohio this summer to obtain a scholarship offer, but was unable to due to the prolonged dead period. Shepard is an engagement teammate of Ohio 2022 linebacker CJ Hicks, who would love to see Shepard get an offer from the Ohio state and join him as Buckeye.

Shepard trains with former Ohio state defensive lineman Robert Landers. Landers and Chase young work a few times a week with Buckeye’s defensive line coach Larry johnson as they prepare for the start of their NFL careers. And they told me that Landers is in Johnson’s ear about Shepard.

Shepard currently has 13 scholarship offers, including Michigan, Michigan State, Florida State, Nebraska, Northwest, Boston College, Pitt, Georgia Tech, Cincinnati, Purdue, Indiana, and the State of Iowa.

The 6-foot-3, 305-pound Shepard is a 3-star prospect in the 247Sports ranking. He is the country’s 23rd defensive tackle and 13th prospect in Ohio.
