Regan is running in the Michigan primary for a position at the state house in August.

Stephanie Regan’s words appear to have been a severe blow to her father, who has engaged to his family on his campaign website, using multiple photos of him and his children to support his campaign.
Robert Regan has spoken on local television since his daughter sent the tweet, blaming her liberal college education for her views.
“When they go to college, they frankly get involved with these Marxist and socialist universities, and they start to indoctrinate themselves with things that are completely opposite of where you raised them,” Regan told local television.
Regan, who describes himself on his own website as “so conservative [he] makes Rush Limbaugh look like a liberal, “he says he and his daughter disagree with systemic racism, white privilege, and Black Lives Matter.
“She’s a great believer in that,” he told The Hill. “The only place where I really see systemic racism would be the abortion clinic, because they seem to target the African American community.”
Her tone seems to have changed since Thursday, when she posted a long statement on Facebook that seemed to appreciate her daughter’s political commitment.
