- Pink, 40, celebrates her “thunder thighs” in a new Instagram post.
- The singer is big on cardio and yoga to stay fit and feel strong in her body.
- She also eats a mostly vegan diet, but sometimes includes chicken and fish.
Some people will use filters and special angles on Instagram to try to see themselves in a certain way, but Pink is not here for any of them. Instead, the 40-year-old singer carries her body – just the way it is – in a new post that is kind of awesome.
“I always wondered why God gave me dancing dunes. There’s a reason he knew I would use them,” she took a shot of herself surfing, along with the hashtags #throwingbuckets #strongismygoal #joyful #wakesurfgirl # somebodysponsormealready.
A bunch of famous people freaked out in the comments. “Nice strong legs so you can tuuuuuuuuuurrrrn up! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥” wrote her trainer Jeanette Jenkins. “Is there ANYTHING you can not do?” famous stylist Karla Welch said. Pink also received a nod from Gisele Bundchen, who wrote, “👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.”

Pink has always been super athletic, but she works really hard to stay that fit. She once shared on Instagram that she rode 32 miles with Jenkins, pointing out that “I’m still standing.”

She told earlier as well Women’s health that she will often do an hour of cardio, an hour of P90X or yoga, then a half hour of warming up when she is on tour. “I do that six days a week,” she said.
But Pink did not exactly say she loves to work out. “I love results. I love strong. It keeps my mental floor higher,” she said.
On the food front, Pink tries to eat well. She told Fitness Magazine that she focuses on a mostly vegan diet. “I try to eat really healthy most of the time. When I’m not on tour, I do the vegan thing, even though I sometimes eat chicken and fish,” she said. The singer also tends to eat what she needs. Pink told Food and wine that they “eat a lot” on tour “because I work four and a half hours a day: a two-hour show, plus yoga, cardio and a rig check with the flying devices.”

But one of the best things about Pink’s approach to health is that she gives herself grace. Back in 2017, after having her son Jameson, Pink wrote on Instagram that she was technically qualified ‘obese’ by BMI standards … and she was cool with it. “Would you believe I’m 160 pounds and 5’3?” By ‘regular standards’ that make me obese, “she wrote a selfie of gymnastics.” I know I’m not at my destination, or anywhere near, to Baby 2, but dammit I do not feel obese. The only thing I feel is myself. Stay away from those scale ladies! “
