A Philadelphia police officer was intoxicated while driving, ran into a house, pinned a woman under his car and was seriously injured, police said.
G. Fischer Gregory Campbell, 27, was driving in Northeast Philadelphia at 8:20 a.m. Saturday and lost control when his car was driven into a building on the 2800 block of Comply Road, Philadelphia Police Commissioner Daniel Outlaw said. Said.
Campbell, assigned to the department’s 14th District, struck a 53-year-old woman as well as a 45-year-old man and his two dogs, Outlaw Lay said. The woman was knocked down by a car and knocked unconscious before being taken to Jefferson Torsdale Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition. The man sustained injuries to his right arm, arm, hip and leg as well as road rashes on his back, the commissioner said.

Campbell has been charged with aggravated assault, DUI and related offenses.
