Super Bowl LII champion Jason Peters is back in the NFL. The former Buffalo Bills man has been a mainstay on the Philadelphia Eagles’ D line for the past decade. The veteran NFL player has been signed on a one-year contract by the Eagles, as confirmed in his official name.

The Eagles are re-signing the nine-time Pro Bowl OL Jason Peters for a one-year contract, not to play as a tackle, but to play as a guard, by source. The Eagles lost to Pro Bowl RG Brandon Brooks to a ripped apart Achilles, and will now turn to Peters to try to help him replace him.

NFL member Adam Schefter was the first to report on Jason Peters’ possible return to the Philadelphia Eagles. The franchise then confirmed the development on its official Twitter ID. Peters will step in to replace the injured Brandon Brooks on the Eagles list. However, as previously mentioned, he will not play at left tackle as he did before.

Peters will reportedly complete as a guard for the Eagles this year. That implies that NFL 2020 first-round pick AndrAndre Dillard is the starting left tackle this season. Jason’s one-year contract is reportedly valued at $ 6 million, with $ 3 million in guarantees. The nine-time Pro Bowlers will add a much-needed experience to the Eagles’ bottom line in the 2020 season.
Peters intends to enter the NFL Hall of Fame in the future. He had never played as a guard in the league before. However, his vast experience and experience in soccer should help him make a smooth transition to his new position. Peters played 11 seasons for the Eagles.
