How meteorologists predict winter storms
Saturday: The sun merges with the high clouds. Another great day with a height of 44.
Sunday: Winter storm clocks are posted for most areas in our area from 12 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. This does not include the hardest hit areas from our last hurricane in Berks, Lehigh and Northampton counties.
With more sh Fashore tracks this hurricane would favor Delaware and Southern New Jersey for the highest snowfall average. Also, unlike our other hurricanes, this whole area seems to have a predominantly snow event, occurring with the only mixing in Southern Cape May County and immediately along the nearby coast to Long Beach Island.
This will be a quick hitter with 8-10 hours of snowfall in any one area.
Timeline:
3am to 6pm Sunday: Snow begins
From 6 am to noon Sunday: Steady snow – can reach up to 1 “/ hour at a time
Sunday from 3pm to 3pm: Snow Tappers closed
Average snowfall:
Berks / Lehig / Northampton 1-3- 1-3 away NW.

For locations such as Dover to Central Delaware and Millville, Hammonton to Browns Mills up to 8 in Central Southern New Jersey would be the best condition to see. This will be the jackpot zone.
Due to the mix Atlantic City down Cape May Beaches by 1-3.

Monday: It’s fast and cool. Clouds occasionally merge with the sun. In the 20’s the temperature rises to 30 degrees Celsius with the wind.
Wednesday: We can see rain with clouds and some possible sunshine during the day. High hit 42.
Wednesday: Some are sunny and cool with a high altitude of 34.
Sunday: We will see the sun mix with the clouds and see a height of only 29. Some ice or winter mix is possible.
Friday: Clouds merge with the sun. With an altitude of only 30, it’s cool again.
