Vice President Mike Pence got word that sen. Kamala Harris was selected as Joe Biden’s running mate when he went to an event in Arizona on Tuesday – and said he was looking forward to debate over her this October in Utah.
“Along the way here, I learned that Joe Biden called his running mate,” Pence said at a rally in Mesa, Ariz., Followed by anger from the crowd.
‘As you all know, Joe Biden and the Democratic Party have been taken over by the radical left. “Given their promises of higher taxes, open borders, socialized medicine, and abortion on demand, it is no surprise that he chose Senator Harris,” Pence said.
‘That my message to the Democrat nominated for Vice President: Congratulations. I’ll see you in Salt Lake City, ”Pence told a crowd of Trump supporters.
BIDEN VP FINALIST BID KAMALA HARRIS
Critics and supporters believe they will become a tough opponent at the debate stage in October.
“She’s going to give Vice President Pence a very, very, very bad evening about that debate because she’s a great debater. She knows what she’s talking about,” Rev. Al Sharpton on MSNBC Tuesday. “I think Joe Biden could have chosen someone else, but he could not have chosen anyone better.”
“She’s hard, she’s thorough, and she’s ready,” Sharpton admitted.
Harris, who has developed a reputation for her ‘tenacity’ and ‘tooth and nail control’, was selected by Biden on Tuesday – citing her stark qualities as his reasoning behind his decision.
‘Her record of accomplishment – fighting teeth and nails for what is good – is why I choose her. There is no door that Kamala will not knock on, no stone that will leave her unturned, if it means making life better – for the people, “Biden said in his announcement of his choice for VP .
“If I were Donald Trump and Mr. Pence, I would now be ready for a real battle,” Sharpton said Tuesday.
HILLARY CLINTON BID KAMALA HARRIS RUNNING MATE PICK
President Trump has already refined and inserted his aggressive rhetoric on Harris’ harsh prose style from the debate stage to the First Chamber, referring to her as “disgusting” – a word he used to criticize Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential race.
“I’ve been looking at them for a long time. I was a little surprised,” Trump said in a briefing Tuesday, his first public appearance after Biden’s VP candidate was announced. “She was extremely annoying to Judge Kavanaugh.”
“She was annoying at a level that was just a terrible thing, the way she’s treated Justice Kavanaugh now, and I will not soon forget that,” Trump said.
“She was very, very annoying. She was probably closer than even Pocahontas to Joe Biden,” Trump added, referring to sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Who has signed Biden and expressed her support for Harris as vice president.
But not everyone is convinced that Trump’s notorious’ disgusting ‘behavior will affect Harris’ ability to debate Pence or draw attention to the campaign trail.

“I do not think you could have a smarter opponent,” Sharpton added Tuesday. “I know the Trump people are preparing everything to throw at her, but you can not have a better person to throw at her – that it will shoot her down as if it did not mean anything, because she had already been in difficult fights.”
Sharpton’s words come after his harsh criticism of the candidates throughout the race, saying that “he has not seen anyone” including Biden or sen. Bernie Sanders, D-Vt., Who was able to defeat Trump after a debate in January.
The vice presidency is expected to be held on October 7 in Salt Lake City.
