New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson has bad news for anyone who wants to poke fun at his weight. The 19-year-old apparently went through quarantine in a fantastic way, and there is even a picture to prove it.
The Pelicans tweeted a photo of their players preparing for the NBA restart. While the team included four photos in their post, Williamson is receiving the most attention.
It is not difficult to understand why that is the case.
Williamson not only looks slimmer, but his arms look muscular and toned. He looks like a man who is motivated to take his team to the postseason without help.
Since Williamson is wearing a mask in the photo, several people have compared his appearance to the Batman villain Bane.
Bane is a physically imposing villain who is known for (we’ll avoid spoilers) who spoils Batman pretty badly.
Questions about Williamson’s weight, at 285 pounds, have been around since Williamson excelled at Duke, though his game has always been stellar. It’s unclear if this new version of Williamson will lead to better production on the court, but we, along with all the Pelicans fans, are very excited to find out.
