Despite a report on Sunday that Carson Wentz wants to stay behind Jalen Hurtz on the Eagles’ quarterback depth chart, coach Doug Pederson says Wentz has no problem with backups.
“Listen, that’s something I really appreciate about Carson, how he handled this. He doesn’t want to be a distraction in the team. He wants to help the team win. “This is at the bottom,” Patterson said Philadelphia Inquiry. “We don’t let that kind of thing get into our thinking and try to keep it out of the locker room so it doesn’t split your team.”
The Padres said there were no hurdles in the team taking the quarterback switch.
“That’s one thing Carson doesn’t let happen,” Pedersen said. “And it will not happen. It’s pro about it. ”
Facing the Eagles is a big problem with Wentz’s poor play and wide contract. But that’s a problem for se fasen. Right now, Pederson says there’s no problem.
