Patriots announce reduced capacity and preliminary protocols for fans at Gillette Stadium

While Patriots fans are anxiously awaiting the start of what will surely be a unique season, the organization has been working diligently to ensure that the game day experience is safe for everyone when soccer resumes. While much remains to be decided, and state and local approvals will be required before fans are allowed inside the building, the Patriots informed ticket holders today of some preliminary protocols they can expect if they visit Gillette Stadium in 2020.

Pending state and local approval, if Gillette Stadium is allowed to have fans in the stands this season, it is expected to house around 20 percent of its full capacity. Although game days will look different this year as a result of the many safety precautions that are being put in place, the Patriots organization is committed to providing a positive experience for all who attend.
