Yesterday, Internet Neuroscience highlighted three new commercials in the new Uber It’s Ad campaign. Star Trek: Next Generation Patrick is confronting Stuart Star Wars Star Mark Hamill. In a new interview, a pair of sci-fi icons talk about the campaign and what it would be like if their franchises were integrated.

Mark Hamill and Sir Patrick Stewart were asked by the Men’s Journal how they felt about the comparison between Star Trek and Star Wars. Hamil replied first:

MH: I have to say between those differences Star Wars And Star Trek For me it is Track Humans go into space and come with aliens, it’s an excellent science fiction. Star Wars Purposefully set in a galaxy far away because it is fiction, not science fiction. I remember a good friend I made in the 1980s who was on the verge of becoming a new Star Trek. I told him I was shocked they were doing another one, but he said it would be this “whole new thing”. I said good luck at the time, as the show was already so iconic that it seemed crazy to do it again without Spock and Kirk. It was friend Brent Spinner who participated and had a wonderful career playing data, but he also proved me wrong with his ability to take the series and make it his own.

I have been asked on several occasions about the competition in between Star Wars And Star Trek, But I have to say that I think it’s really apple and orange. You can choose one or both of the two. That’s why this campaign called me funny, because I knew they were reprimanding us against each other.

As part of that, Stuart did not have a contest, but a possible union:

PS: I will admit that, at least for us Star Trek, We have envisioned a united universe in between Star Wars And Track Movie. Many ideas have been put forward about putting the two iconic universes together and coming in contact with all these great characters. I would personally get such a kick.

Stuart and Hamill talked about what it would be like to meet Captain Picard and Luke Skywall:

PS: I think Picard would like to take Skywicker to his crew, but be sure to keep an eye on him. Because he has a few personality traits that the cardboard tabs want to keep going.

MH: [Laughs] I think Luke Picard and the Starfleet team as a whole will have a lot of respect. The rebellious alliance of which he is a part is very little organized, and is shameful as long as it is implemented from what he sees on the enterprise. I also believe Luke is a lifelong student, despite becoming a JED master, and I think he will learn a lot from Picard.

According to Edwick, Stuart and Hamil filmed the spots in a warehouse in downtown Los Angeles in Los Gust. The product had to take “extra precautions” because of the coronavirus as well as the social distance caused by wildfires. COVID-19 testing was required for those on set.

The Berber Eat online online and TV campaign will run in the USA, Canada and Australia. There will also be a printed campaign with the tagline, “Tonight, I’ll eat better than that.”

Star Wars and Star Trek

While the official crossover of the two big star franchises is almost certainly never going to happen, both franchises have referred to each other by Easter eggs. This leaves peas on the internet, where you can find these popular college humor animations from 2015.
