Paris Jackson Docuseries ‘unfiltered’ lands on Facebook Watch

Michael Jackson’s daughter and boyfriend Gabriel Glenn will allow viewers to follow their band, The Soundflowers, on the digital platform.

As Paris Jackson and boyfriend Gabriel Glenn release their band’s debut EP, The Soundflowers, the duo will release a docuseries on Facebook Watch that will follow their folk-indie musical collaboration.

The six-part Soundflowers, No filter: Paris Jackson and Gabriel Glenn, It will debut its first episode on June 30 and will run weekly on Tuesdays through August 4.

The series trailer highlights Jackson describing his difficulties getting out of the media gaze around his late father. In the years after Michael Jackson’s sudden death in 2009, his daughter Paris made television and acting appearances and hinted at a future in music that has come with The Soundflowers.

“You see a girl grow up in public view and you forget I’m a human,” Jackson says at one point in the trailer about images of her running away from the paparazzi who were chasing her.

She adds that Glenn understands “the pain I’ve been through all my life. It helps me realize that this is what I was born for.”

The Soundflowers released their self-titled debut EP on Tuesday.
