Pandit Jasraj, Indian legend of classical music, dies at 90


Pandit Jasraj’s musical career spans eight decades across continents. He has received several prestigious awards, including the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second highest civil honor, as well as Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri awards.

He was in the United States when the lockon of the coronavirus was maintained in India and decided to stay.
