The Green Bay Packers signed the WR Taven Austin Stein And WR published Darius Shepherd. The deals were announced on Tuesday by General Manager Brian Guttenst.
(TAY-von) Austin Stein (5-8, 180) was originally selected by the St. Louis Rums from the University of West Virginia in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft (8th overall). He has spent time in his career with the Rams (2013-17), the Dallas Cowboys (2018-19) and the San Francisco 49ers (2020), appearing in 96 regular-season games with 50 starts. T Steen has 215 receptions for 2,006 yards (9.3 average) with 15 touchdowns and 1,340 rushing yards on 196 carry (6.8 average) with 10 TDs. As a compensator, he recorded 1,498 yards on a 185 punt return (1,8 average) with 185 TD and 451 yards on three TDs and 25 kickoff returns (18.0 average). Destining in 201 to, Austin Stein is ranked No. 4 in the NTFL’s Punt Return TD (three), and was one of only two players in the NFL to post a Punt Return TD each season from 2013-15 (Steelers WR Antonio Brown). He is also present in three postseason competitions with two starts. Austin Stein will wear No. 16 for pastors.
