Wow! Thanks for the detailed information! Holy baking, everything that is done before the game clock comes to zero, great.
I had to hug myself when Spoff asked me to prove that answer to make it understandable to readers. I do not think I could have written it better.
Players have talked a lot about coach Jerry Gray, and after listening to a few of his interviews, I find myself lying a little more as he talks. What is it about him that resonates with so much?
Gray was a former pick in the first round who played at a high level for years. His coaching resume in Minnesota also speaks for itself. That being said, I think it’s the belief with whom he’s talking. The man does not talk for fun. Each word serves a purpose. There is no fat. I think his players respect that.

The speculation for the last six months has been that Allen Lazard will be WR2 (I agree). Only one week in camp, so it’s early, but did you see anything last week that you might think might not be the case Sept. 13?
He will have a role in this crime, but we also have such a long way to go before the opener in Minnesota. Many of these recipients have had good days. The most consistent will face Davante Adams on Sept. 13.

You may be tired of questions about what individual players looked like in the first week, but I’m still attracted to Jake Kumerow and have not heard much about him. Any insight on how he stacks up in the WR league?
More of the same. The man puts everything he has in every route he walks. There has not been such a seminal moment in practice, to say the least, but Kumerow brings it up every day.
With the increase in the size of practices this year, how would you allocate the 16 players? I do not mean specific players in real life. I mean what positions would you be sure to cover in the squad, and how many players for each of those positions? Or would it be all about which real players you want to keep? Or a combination of both? Or would you break out an ouija board and let the spirits of dear departing Packers make the call?
I do not get into exact positions, however I would add one or two veteran-free agents. The NFL has loosened its restrictions on who is eligible. With all these COVID questions, I would seek to take advantage of those extra spots with some experience, in addition to developing your other 12-14 prospects.
How far from Lambeau Field will the ambient sound be heard? Will the noise cheer for the Packers’ first downs and ups when fines are called at key moments? Minor questions you want to know.
You got a laugh out of me with that one. No, it’s just one constant stream of noise pollution. It sounds kind of like a crowd of people chatting, with hornets under the sigh. To everyone worried little Tommy like Susie will hear dumb words on TV, I can tell you it should be no problem if the NFL keeps the maximum decibel level where it is. Louder and I could not think of hearing myself.
