Pache debuts, Camargo and Riley in the field for Braves

It’s Pache time in Atlanta!

While the debut of the Braves top organizational prospect will hold the headlines, the middle of the Braves sequence is also seeing some changes.

With Nick Markakis not available, the Braves will have to hope that Adam Duvall can emerge as a key contender. He will likely see a lot of playing time and become a fixture in fifth place in the lineup until some regulars return. With the ongoing season championships of options behind him, Atlanta should hope he will offer some fast and valuable record appearances.

The big development in the Phillies lineup is the exclusion of Bryce Harper, but that does not mean that her hitters are not a threat. The first four hitters in the Phillies order could be quite difficult to navigate, and limiting their production could be the key to the game for Max Fried and the Braves. Roman Quinn and Scott Kingery limited to the bottom of the sequence will also be an added bonus to keep them off the base tracks.

For the Braves to win, one of their bottom four hitters will likely need a big hit from tonight. Hopefully they can get it early and give Fried and the bullpen the lead to protect.
