PENNSYLVANIA – Pennsylvania has added three more states to its list of travel quarantines.
Pennsylvania residents traveling to Nebraska, North Dakota and Wisconsin would now have to quarantine back, health officials said. That is in addition to the 19 states that were already on the list.
The travel quarantine list includes states that are currently experiencing increasing levels of COVID-19. Travelers visiting the following states must return 14 days of quarantine upon return, Pennsylvania health officials say:

- Florida
- Georgia
- Idaho
- Iowa
- Kansas
- Louisiana
- Mississippi
- Missouri
- Nebraska
- Nevada
- North Carolina
- North Dakota
- Oklahoma
- South Carolina
- Tennessee
- Texas
- Utah
- Wisconsin
“It is important that people understand that this recommendation is in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Pennsylvania. A significant number of recent cases have been linked to travel, and if people are going to travel, we need them to take steps to to protect themselves, their loved ones and their community, and that’s about quarantine, “the health department said in a news release announcing the additions to the list.
Pennsylvania’s total coronavirus reached 118,092 on Saturday, after 813 additional positive cases were reported. The state’s death toll from the virus now stands at 7,313.
New case counts in Pennsylvania in the past seven days are down compared to the seven days before. As of August 6, the state had a seven-day case increase of 5,016 new cases. The previous seven-day increase from the state was 6,228, which showed that new cases have decreased by 1,252 in the last seven days.
