Annealed: All You Can Eat It includes revised images, with 4K resolution and 60 frames per second options, as well as faster loading times. The development team rebuilt the first game using the Annealed 2 motor.
For the first time, you can play the original Overcooked online with your friends and other people. It also won’t matter if they all have the same console, since Annealed: All You Can Eat will include crossover multiplayer. Those are solid updates, since Overcooked is all about cooperative play, and the more games that offer cross-play, the better.
Ghost Town and Team17 editor noted that the package will have more accessibility options and an assistance mode. You’ll be able to skip levels, increase the time limit at a certain stage, and give yourself more time to fulfill orders before time runs out. There will also be color blindness options, “a scalable user interface” and “dyslexic friendly text.”
There’s no release date yet, in part because Sony and Microsoft haven’t yet revealed exactly when PS5 and Xbox Series X will go on sale beyond this holiday season. When you leave, you will have the option to pick up Annealed: All You Can Eat either digitally or as a physical edition.
