If the “Toy Story 4” character Duke Cab Boom reminds you Evel Nivel, You are not alone – the charge and the similarity of his image people think so too … and now they are claiming.
A company called K&K Promotions sued Disney, Pixar and a whole bunch of their subsidiaries … Stuntman driver Toy claims that Keyu Reeves The ficker that voiced in the latest ‘Toy Story’ is a clear and unambiguous rip-isf of the legendary American motorcycle daredevil.
More importantly, K&K claims that they have all the rights of Evil Nivel’s equality, personality and brand and says that Mouse House has not received any kind of approval to support one of their characters after Evil.
If you’ve seen the movie … it’s easy to see similarities as far as you can see – and that’s what critics and other junk interviewers think, too, according to the lawsuit.
According to docs obtained by TMZ, K&K says that the style, influence and approval of his famous stunt wheel toy from the vel0s are also clearly sprinkled throughout the film – of course, Duke calls himself the greatest Canadian stuntman. And it also comes with a powerful one to finish a bike and loosen his bike … like an Evil toy from the back of the day. They attached photos … that’s one thing.
K&K also claimed that Disney instructed its ‘T4’ cast and others involved in the producer to avoid using Evel’s name during interviews, as well as other trademarked items. For example, they claim Tony Hale He was doing mental gymnastics in an interview about why he calls his character Forkie when he feels like a spark.
According to K&K, the reason is that Disney was concerned about running existing trademarks for the term “spark” … and tried to use it, but still Kinda used it in the end – sort of like K&K claims that they Done with Evil.
Of course, there’s also the commercial aspect – K&K says Disney made a lot of “Toy Story 4” products, including Duke Cab Boom toys, and made a lot of money from them.
So now, K&K is dragging Disney to court – and yes, it feels better that they ask a judge for a big time loss.
