Over the past two weeks, more than 900 Mayo Clinic employees have contracted COVID-19

“We have 32 COVID patients who need a third care, and that’s not good. It tells us we’re on the rise, “Williams said. He added that currently 73 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized in non-ICU settings.

“All of our hospitals are really stretched, and many are full.” Williams said, but added, “We keep the capacity of anyone who needs our care.”

According to the state health department, 236,949 confirmed cases of covid-19 and 2,943 deaths have been reported in Minnesota since the onset of the epidemic.
