(Dare County)
Dare County reported its highest number of new daily cases of COVID-19 (14) on Sunday, June 28. That brings the total number of cases in the county to 93 since the pandemic. Reflecting the recent increase in infections here, 47 cases, half the total number, have been reported in the past eight days.
Of today’s new cases, only one person was not a Dare County resident and was transferred to their own county. The other 13 are Dare County residents, six men and seven women. Nine of the 13 county residents are under the age of 25, continuing another trend that has seen youth endure the brunt of new COVID-19 infections. All Dare County residents are reported to be isolating in their homes.
