Our 12 favorite Chrome extensions

The Chrome Web Store is in a mess, sure, but that does not mean you would not have to use legitimate extensions to enhance your browsing experience – if applicable Google Chrome of the more resource-friendly alternative, Microsoft’s Edge Chromium.

Strange as it may be to fill your browser with every useful extension you can get, that bit about “resources” was not just my lame attempt at a joke: somehow you want to be strategic about your selections , because you probably do not want to slow your browser to a crawl. I feel like I have one stikmannich now too many extensions, and I’m hoping that working on this article will convince me to remove a handful from my browser.

That said, there are also some extensions that I think everyone should know about. They can be obvious to you; they are perhaps completely new. You have to start somewhere, so I will share the extensions I always use in the hope that it will give you a few gems (like a fill suite) to try.

If you have any suggestions for other extensions that you would like to defend at any cost, please leave them in the comments! I’m always looking for that next, great extension, and would be more than happy to check it out and share it with your guy Lifehacker fans – if it’s great, of course.
