Democratic Senate candidate John Osof debated on an empty podium Sunday night in Atlanta.

Ossoff Republican Sen. in one of two U.S. Senate senators in Georgia on January 5. David Perdue is being challenged, who together will decide which party controls the Senate.

The moderator of the discussion asked ss Saf what he would have asked Parade if the senator had agreed to attend the discussion.

“I think that’s why I’m asking them to oppose the $ 1,200 stimulus check for the American people at this moment of crisis,” Osoff said. “Why they fought against him in the first place, and why he’s not in Washington right now, is winning direct financial relief.”

“If the senator wasn’t timid to discuss in public, that’s what I’m asking him to do,” he said.

Osof also said his opponent may be worried about provoking himself from the personal financial investments that have come under scrutiny. The senator has denied any wrongdoing.

When Perdue refused to participate in the debate, Ben Fry, his campaign manager, told the Associated Press, “We already have two debates in this election.”

“If the Democrats have full control of Congress directly over the people, we will take our message on what to risk,” he said.

The parade appeared at a campaign event on Saturday night with President Donald Trump, who spent more time fighting his own election result, and other run-off GOPs. Sen. Kelly Loffler.

Unlike Perdue, Lofler took part in a discussion with his challenger, Democrat Rafael Warnock, on Sunday. She again refused to acknowledge that Trump had just lost the Biden election.

Democrats need to win both run-off races to take over the Senate, with some experts saying Biden will have to complete more of his policy agenda during the early period of his term.
