Oregon Health Authority reports 277 coronavirus cases and 1 death by Saturday


SALEM, Mineral — The Oregon Health Authority reports 277 confirmed and suspected cases of COVID-19 across Oregon.

There is also a new death. He is an 84-year-old man from Multnomah County. He started showing symptoms on June 21 and died the next day. OHA says he had underlying medical conditions. This brings the state’s death toll to 202.

OHA also included a correction in Saturday’s report. “OHA erroneously reported that the 202th death of COVID-19 in Oregon was a woman who tested positive on June 22. We regret the error. The total number of COVID-19 deaths in Oregon is 202.”
