OnePlus Nord design revealed in latest promotional video

The hype surrounding the upcoming OnePlus Nord series is nearing its tipping point as we expect the phone to debut next week. The latest promotional video finally gives us a brief look at one of the devices for a fraction of a second that also confirms the design. Around the 1-minute mark, we get a close-up of the front of the phone showing the screen with its double holes and also revealing the right side which features the alert slider and the power button.

The announcement then quickly jumps to a shot on the back of the phone where we see the slim rectangular cutout of the camera, the OnePlus logo in the middle, and the LED flash that is separate from the camera modules.

In addition to the video, we also received confirmation that the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 765G chipset directly from the OnePlus Nord page on Amazon India. This is not a surprise as One Plus co-founder Carl Pei revealed the news in an interview earlier this week.

It remains to be seen how many phones OnePlus will announce, given that Nord is a series and not a single device. The only certainty is that the Nord series will compete in the mid-range segment where OnePlus began its journey in 2014.
