OnePlus Nord camera, release date on latest leaks

The OnePlus Nord is highly anticipated and, so far, we already know a lot about it. Today, a retail partner inadvertently leaked the OnePlus Nord release date, and just a few hours later, the same CEO confirmed a key detail from the camera.

As Ishan Argawal saw (and eliminated, through XDA) earlier today, a listing of the OnePlus Nord in Amazon India, since its modification, briefly showed a possible product launch date. The page is still active, too, on a cached Google page.

That page is a list of products for an augmented reality event where OnePlus will launch the Nord. Previously, the device was rumored to arrive on July 10, but this leaked list exceeds that leak in terms of credibility. The list also mentions that “everyone who purchases OnePlus Nord AR Launch Invite automatically enters for a chance to win great prizes, including OnePlus Q1 TV, Nord phone, BWZ, and gift cards.”

Beyond that, OnePlus CEO Carl Pei also weighed in on some OnePlus Nord news on Twitter. Retweeting a leak over the Nord using optical image stabilization, Pei joked that the OnePlus Nord will have a “flagship camera.” Obviously, we don’t expect top-tier results from a $ 350 phone, but the company is clearly proud of what’s in store.
