OnePlus Nord appears in a short video clip, showing the design

The highly anticipated OnePlus Nord has briefly flirted with the camera during a brief Instagram teaser, thus giving us a proper look at the upcoming design.

As the launch of the affordable smartphone approaches, teasers for OnePlus Nord are increasing. While we already know a lot about the phone, the design has been kept a secret until now.

On the official OnePlus Nord Instagram account, a short 1-minute, 30-second video shows the outer shell held by a model. You can watch the full video below, but it’s only a few seconds where we can see exactly what that design implies.

However, the guys from Android Authority we were able to take a look ahead of time, with a much clearer look (read: video in non-portrait mode) to the average ranger. It bears some resemblance to the first renderings shown by @OnLeaks in late 2019, but obviously a few minor tweaks have been made.

The actual video is the same old pretentious trick you’ll hear from almost any OEM smartphone in the lead-up to a new release. Of course, the things that really matter to him are probably the design and the inner part of the OnePlus Nord. If you’re wondering when the device shows up, check the 1 minute mark from the Instragram video below:

It’s blurry, but we can get a few things, the color appears to be a gray-blue mix with the camera moving, as expected, to the upper left corner of the back panel. It’s hard to deny that the OnePlus Nord’s rear panel shares some similarities with the design of the Realme X50 Pro 5G.

We can also see the double drill hole very, very briefly, basically the subject of this entire post, which is located in the upper left corner of the screen. There’s also the return of the popular alert slider, but there’s not much else you can really see. You can take a closer look without the hassle of the video portrait below:
