After officially confirming plans to launch a new affordable smartphone series, OnePlus has now hinted that the first phone in the new series could carry the ‘Nord’ brand. The company has posted a new photo on its ‘onepluslitezthing’ Instagram page, which shows co-founder Carl Pei holding up some promotional materials for the upcoming product. As you can see in the image below, one of the promotional materials shows the brand “Nord”.
Since OnePlus has started teasing the next phone, we hope to see an official confirmation on the phone’s name coming soon. OnePlus is also likely to confirm the phone’s release date in the coming days. As OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed yesterday, the phone will also launch in Europe. However, consumers in North America will have to wait longer to get their hands on the new affordable OnePlus series of smartphones.
