- OnePlus has announced a release schedule and a worthy phone for the Xygen Xion OS 11.
- The Android 11-based open beta update will arrive on OnePlus Nord this week.
- It will also update the OnePlus 6 and all later models with the latest software.
Over the weekend, OnePlus released a forum post about when it plans to release the latest xygen xigen OS 11 update on its phones. Android 11-based software is currently available on the OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 8 series, and according to the company, it will soon roll out in existing and older phones – in this case, OnePlus 6 and later models.
This will be the first line OnePlus Nord to receive the Xygen Xion OS 11 this month. The phone was updated to Oxygen OS 10.5.10 last week and OnePlus says it will launch the first Android 11 open beta build for it later this week. There is no deadline yet for when the static release will take place, but the company says it will conduct stage rollouts after collecting feedback from beta users.
Many OnePlus 7 and 7T users are also eagerly awaiting the Android 11 update. OnePlus previously confirmed Android Authority That it will arrive on the phone before the end of 2020. However, the firm now says it encountered a data encryption issue while porting the update to the phone. That said, he has worked with Qualcomm to resolve the issue and expects to release the first Oxygen OS 11 open beta for the OnePlus 7 and 7T series soon after completing the ongoing closed beta testing.
Speaking of OnePlus 6, Oxygen OS 11 will be its third major Android update. The phone was pre-installed with Android 8.1 Orio and was only about to receive two major updates, so it was a pleasure to see that OnePlus is giving users an extra there.
On the other hand, OnePlus 6T, Android Pine has come out of the box and so it was already in line to get Android 11, finally, OnePlus Nord N10 and N100 are also in the queue to get the software. The phone manufacturer says that I will share more details about the update schedule of these phones at a later date.
