At least one person has been killed and several others injured after a shooting erupted at a gathering of more than 100 people at a motorcycle club in Iowa’s Waterloo on Saturday.
Police in Waterloo said they had “Shot fired report“At about 3:17 a.m. Saturday at a place where bikers had gathered.
Waterloo Police Chief Joel Fitzgerald said A press conference on Saturday That police found about a dozen people who were injured or said to have had “some sort of confrontation” at the scene of the shooting.
Eight people were shot and wounded. One of the injured has died and the other is in critical condition.
Four other people were injured by debris and glass as they fled the scene.
Fitzgerald added that the gathering is not authorized and Investigators are trying to determine who rented the building.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, although three people were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct outside the hospital, where three of the victims are being treated. Associated Press report.
