Prince Harry And Meghan Markle May bid farewell to his royal title, but U.S. A woman in is still fighting to earn the name “Sussex Royal” … and she says she is doing this for the Queen !!!
As we first reported … there was a rush of states here immediately after the news of “Magsit” last year Trademark term, Something who applied for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but eventually withdrew a bid to do so only in the UK.
Since then, it seems that everyone in America who is pursuing the “Sussex Royal” trademark has dropped their filing … except Carrie DeVorah, Who filed for the use of a line selling bedding products specifically for children.
Kerry told TMZ … she filed her trademark paperwork in January 2020 because she got the figure Queen Elizabeth Harry and Meghan wouldn’t be allowed to make big bucks for their titles, but she didn’t think anything would stop her.
Kerry says she thinks the Sussex Royal name is beautiful and she prefers her cultural connection to the Royal family, and – born in Canada – she insists she wants to pay tribute to the Queen.
However it is facing a battle on a battlefield to king the trademark, as the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Fees has already denied his application because it has found that the line incorrectly indicates a connection with Harry and Meghan.
Kerry has a few weeks left to respond to the U.S.PTO’s denial, and tells us that he plans to do so by arguing that Harry and Megan are U.S. citizens. I didn’t even bother to file for a trademark in … and I didn’t even file in bed in a category like hers.
Kerry also says that the U.S.P.T.O. No claims that “Sussex Royale” suggests that the connection with Harry and Meghan is unfair, because according to him … the Queen never allowed pre-senior royals to commercialize the term. Therefore, she does not believe that it incorrectly suggests any connection to them.
