No. 3 Ohio State No. 9 Indiana 28-7 in a halftime game, in which Indiana had chances but could not take advantage of them. That said, the start of the game doesn’t look promising for the Hoosiers. After Indiana was penalized following its first possession, Ohio State needed just two plays to go 75 yards and take an early 7-0 lead. Indiana’s offense stalled again, but this time it was saved by pushing Justin Fields into the first hurdle of his season. Unfortunately for Indiana, didn’t take advantage of it. Nor did he take advantage of Fields’ second interception later in some of the assets.
Indiana managed to tie the game early in the second quarter – a tie, but Ohio State’s offense eventually stalled the game and took a 28-7 lead with three touchdowns to complete the half. If Indiana had managed to convert that turnover into points, as it comes so often this season, we would have played a lot of different games on our hands. As it stands, it looks like there is a very tall mountain of hossiers to climb in the second half.
