Unfortunately, the virus is spreading faster than ever, says cleveland.com editor Chris Quinn. On Friday, there were 1,525 new cases, easily beating the previous day record of 1,380 … set in April. The positive testing rate has also increased. The increase has resulted in masks being mandatory in Cuyahoga County, which has started a hotline for reports of noncompliance. And the aftermath of the May 30 riot in Cleveland continues … the video shows police shooting dozens of pepper spray balls at a resident trying to break into his downtown apartment.
