Among the many things the Mustang Mach-E plans to test, the potential fun factor for electric vehicles is at the forefront. For starters, the powertrain setup offers infinite adjustability. It can be front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and you can adjust the amount of torque it produces. Oh, and it charges in just 45 minutes. Vaughn Jr. said it best when he described the Mustang Mach-E 1400 as a magnetic roller coaster that he can control.
This clip is primarily about seeing Ken Block hit the over-the-top Mach-E, but what you need to take away is a sense of optimism for the near future of performance electric vehicles. The possibilities developed with the Mach-E 1400 will eventually hit the showrooms, albeit in a super expensive and super exclusive way, and that’s fine. We’d be fine with a fraction of the performance in a car we can really afford.
The Mach-E also rampages, screaming for the fugitive like a sharp supercharger, I just know it will probably smoke a Demon SRT Dodge Challenger from a standstill.
