The teaser trailer for last night’s Far Cry 6 announcement was taken very seriously, but if you dig a little deeper, you’ll find out that this will likely continue to be an experience filled with comic stupidity. Along with the pre-order bonus of a Freedom skin for your canine companion, the Collector’s Edition also includes a flamethrower. It’s just a 72cm replica that doesn’t really spit flames, but it’s an inclusion reminiscent of past high-priced editions that put silly fun at the forefront of the tropical excursion.
The Collector’s Edition also confirms that Far Cry 6 will receive three pieces of post-launch downloadable content via a season pass. When it comes to physical goods, you’ll also have a collector’s box, art book, 10 stickers, a unique steel book and soundtrack, a chorizo keychain, and a Yara map in your hands. Instructions on how to assemble the flamethrower and a mounting bracket will also be included. All of this costs $ 199.99.
