Odell Beckham Jr. has been linked to the New England Patriots in the past.
And while many thought it was because of the Cleveland Browns catcher that he loved Tom Brady, maybe there is more to it than that. Perhaps it has more to do with Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.
Beckham vividly described his admiration for Belichick while talking to Cam Newton, Victor Cruz, and Todd Gurley on his own YouTube channel, which launched Tuesday.
Beckham’s response was motivated by Newton referring to how the quarterback’s relationship with his new coach “would work.” Beckham chimed in and admitted he was happy for Newton for what he believes Belichick will draw from him.
“… To go to Belichick, there is nothing like ‘How is it going to work?’ For me, all she wants to do is put you in a place to be successful, and I’m happy to see her. ”
Another thing that Beckham would probably be happy to see? Himself playing alongside Newton in New England.
And it all goes back to Belichick.
