Earlier this week, USA Today published its 2020 All-USA football precision team for high schools, which can be viewed here.
There were no Notre Dame commitments mentioned on the first team, but three are made the second team.

QB Tyler Buchner – Second team
During his stellar junior campaign at La Jolla (California) The Bishop’s School, Buchner picked up more than 6,000 yards of total offense and made 81 touchdowns. He completed 66 percent of his passes for 4,474 yards with 53 touchdowns, and also rushed for 1,610 yards and 28 scores.
OL Blake Fisher – Second Team
Fisher is considered the top recruit in Indiana and an offensive tackle top-10 in the country in the 2021 class. The Notre Dame attack helped Avon (Ind.) High to a record of 9-1 and 342 yards of total offense per game in 2019.
OL Rocco Spindler – Second team
Spindler, which is nationally rated as the no. 3 offensive guard by Rivals, caught the Irish over defending national champions LSU, Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State.
Three Notre Dame goals were also scored USA Today’s eare.
Lititz (Pa.) Warwick’s Nolan Rucci, who is mentioned as the offensive approach no. 6 and no. 36 nationwide by Rivals, received honorary teams from the first team. The Irish are fighting with Clemson, Michigan, Penn State and Wisconsin for his commitment.
Notre Dame escaped a few 2022 offers this week from prospects named on the second season exactly at Shelby (NC) High’s Malaki Hamrick, the no. 13 outside linebackers and No. 119 overall appearance per Rivals, and Hartford (Ala.) Geneva County’s Emmanuel Henderson, the no. 2 runs back and no. 57 general recruit nationwide per Rivals.
