Zero finishes on goal
The chance statistics showed after the game that the teams had hardly had a proper chance. Rosenborg didn’t have a single shot on goal.
Trøndelag’s biggest chance came in the final minutes when substitute Pål André Helland fired loose from 16 meters, but the ball went over the goal.
The closest for KBK was Liridon Kalludra, who fired a shot ten minutes into the second half, but went straight to André Hansen in RBK’s cage.
Rosenborg thus seized the opportunity to pass Molde in the battle for second place. Molde still has a point to go down to RBK. Kristiansund remains in fourth place, four points behind Rosenborg, but can be overtaken by Vålerenga on Sunday.

Controversial decisions of the arbitrators
Both teams thought they had reason to be unhappy with the referee on Sunday. Rosenborg was furious when a great attack with good combinations on the right side ended in a controversial cancellation.
Left-back Pa Konate slid a post into the goal, but was deflected offside. Television footage showed striker Dino Islamovic offside, but it was not easy to see whether or not the ball would pass him on the way to Konate.
After the break, Kristiansund took over more of the initiative, without making it a casual match. The center block of the teams held up well and avoided most situations long before they became dangerous.
Three minutes before full time, the Kristiansund players thought they should have a penalty as Markus Henriksen tore and fought at the opponent on the field. However, the referee was not impressed and admonished him to dive.
