Police and an ambulance moved to an address in Åsane at 11.30pm on Sunday night.

There they found a person who appeared lifeless, as well as a dead person.

It’s a young man and a young woman who have been found, Operations Manager Knut Dahl-Michelsen says in a press release last night. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

– The woman’s relatives have been notified. They are both 20 years old, Dahl-Michelsen tells BT at 03:00.

– Suspicious death

– The person who is alive was conscious, but needed medical attention and was transferred to the hospital. The police are in a warning phase, which means that we cannot come out with any more personal information, the leader of the police task at the scene, Tom Johannessen, tells BT.

It emphasizes that the police currently have no reason to believe that something criminal has happened. They are investigating the case as a suspicious death.

The police are conducting technical investigations on the spot until Sunday night. They have been in contact with the person who is alive, but have not been questioned in depth. The police now want to talk to the neighbors.

– This is a house with several apartments on many levels, where there are different types of homes. It was just these two in the apartment in question when the police arrived. We have no reason to believe that other people live in the apartment besides these two people, says the task leader.

– is in an early stage

At the moment, the police do not wish to comment on the type of injuries the two people had when emergency services arrived.

– We are working to control the details of the case, but right now we are in an initial phase, says Johannessen.

The background of the call was a message of concern from the family of the person who lived in the home.
