Armed police searched for a perpetrator west of Glomma in Elverum, after a woman was stabbed at a private address on Friday afternoon.
– The health status of the woman is not yet known. She was taken to hospital with stab wounds, Innlandet police district operations manager Haagen Løvseth told Dagbladet.
At 5:35 p.m., the Sykehuset Innlandet press officer stated that the woman was stable, but with moderate injuries. She was transported to Ullevål hospital.

The incident was reported from the appropriate private address, the operations manager said. The police were notified through other emergency services at 2:24 p.m.

Løvseth said the attacker could be wearing a stolen military uniform.

– Police linked this observation to a robbery of a building in Terningmoen camp tonight. The perpetrator may also be a person who was observed possibly intoxicated or mentally unstable on Friday morning, the operations manager said.
No other robberies of the military camp have been reported.

Photos from the scene showed police barricading west of Glomma on Friday afternoon.
– Neighbors in the area are told to stay inside and close the doors. For comments, call 112, Løvseth said.
The incident took place in Vindheiavegen in Elverum, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the military camp.
After a search in a forest area southwest of Elverum, the police are in control of probably the correct perpetrator of the stabbing.

Allegedly the arrested perpetrator
At 6:49 p.m., the police confirm to Dagbladet that they have control over the probably correct perpetrator. In a Twitter message, the Innlandet Police District writes:
– The person in question was injured, consistent with fall injuries.
It is not yet known how the person suffered these injuries. He was taken to Elverum hospital with unknown injuries.
