White House chief of staff revealed Trump’s health status

– This morning the president is very well, said Sean Conely during the press conference.

The president must have been fever free for the past 24 hours and does not need oxygen.

He also took the opportunity to thank the President for all the consideration and support.

Trump should be in a good mood and has stated that he now feels ready to go home.

When asked what factors could put Trump at risk for severe symptoms, Conely replied that Trump is 74 years old and “somewhat overweight.”

The medical team did not respond the last time Trump gave a negative coronal test.

Meadows said the condition was concerning

Shortly after the press conference, however, riots broke out, when an anonymous source “with knowledge of the president’s health” stated the following:

“The state of the president during the last 24 hours has been very worrying and the next 48 hours will be critical in terms of attention. We are not yet on the way to a full recovery.

On Saturday night Norwegian time, it became clear that the anonymous source was Chief of Staff Mark Meadows at the White House.

The statement was delivered by representatives of the White House to the group of TV reporters and newspapers that make up the so-called “pool”, a group where reporters from various media houses take turns following the president on trips and others.

Several of the reporters in the presidential group have published the source’s statements, and it has created many reactions online among political journalists that the White House group receives the exact opposite message from the message at the press conference held recently.

Shortly after 7 p.m. Norwegian time, the AP news agency quoted an anonymous source as saying Trump received an oxygen supply at the White House on Friday, before being sent to the hospital.

The counselor got infected

It was on Friday that it became clear that the President of the United States, Donald Trump, as well as his wife Melania, had been confirmed infected with the coronavirus.

Trump was found infected after his spokeswoman Hope Hicks was confirmed Thursday. In hindsight, there has been confusion about what action the president took when it emerged that one of his close advisers had been infected.

The online newspaper Axios, known for its good sources, writes that even White House advisers are frustrated by the lack of answers to questions related to Trump’s infection.

The White House, for example, did not respond to questions about why Trump attended an event in the state of New Jersey on Thursday, after it became clear that Hicks was infected.

– There have been many rumors, but a total lack of information from above, says an anonymous employee at the top of the system to the website.

– No one can trust what they hear, because what is said in public does not seem to make sense.

Nervous staff

Typically about 90 people work as housekeepers, cooks and butlers in the White House, but since the crown pandemic broke out in March, staffing has been limited to just the necessary staff.

CNN has spoken with a source at the White House, who claims that staff are cautious and careful, but are nervous about the infection situation.

Axios also writes that several employees have complained about what they believe to be an unjustifiable attitude related to social distancing and the use of face masks.(Terms)Copyright Dagens Næringsliv AS and / or our suppliers.
