Voss’s camp was packed with 38 caravans when the flood warning came. Sandy Mathieson, who runs Voss Camping, immediately started a circular round and 30 caravans withdrew.

– We are almost completely full of winter guests, that is, stuck carriages. So I had to get rid of as many carriages as possible as soon as we could, Mathieson tells TV 2.

He saw last night, around 02:00, that the water had started to rise and he knew that the water level in the rivers was rising. Then it just flooded.

– We thought the water calmed down, but it just rose and rose, he tells TV 2.

Some of the wagons are now completely flooded with water.

– A caravan lies and floats, he says.
