ÅSTED: A policeman was removed from a gas station in Vestby on Wednesday. Police believe the incident was intentional.
The eastern police district is searching for a red A-class Mercedes after the driver allegedly tried to run over a police officer on E6 near Vestby, police wrote on Twitter.
– We know who it is, but we haven’t talked to the person yet. It is claimed that it is a strong recommendation for the perpetrator to report, Operations Manager Terje Marstad tells VG at 10:35 PM.
The operational part has been phased out and the police are investigating.
– The police tried to stop a car for a misdemeanor. It seems to stop and the police get out of the car. The car then enters the police vehicle and a police officer must jump down to avoid being hit, task leader Ole Juelsen said of the course of events Wednesday night.

Now the police want advice on where this car and its driver can be.

The drama is said to have been captured on video by a camera at the gas station.
