On Friday night at 6:00 p.m. Norwegian time, the transfer window for level two of the Championship in England was closed.

This is where Joshua King’s club Bournemouth is after relegation from the Premier League last season. The Norwegian, who in recent years has been one of the most important pieces of the team, made no secret that he wanted to continue his career at a higher level.

However, when the transition window was closed, a transition was not yet confirmed. King tells Dagbladet that he will be on the south coast of England.

“Yes, I’m staying in Bournemouth,” King told the newspaper.

– The worst two months of my life

There has been a lot of activity around King in the last ten months. In January, it emerged that Ole Gunnar Solskjær and Manchester United wanted the forward, but the transfer never materialized.

King made no secret that he was very disappointed that a transfer to the Manchester club did not take place.

Therefore, the Norwegian was expected to use this summer’s extended transfer window to find a new club, but this has not been the case.

West Ham, Newcastle, Turin, Fiorentina, Seville, Everton and a bunch of other clubs have been mentioned as the next stop. But then no.

When Norway took on Northern Ireland on Wednesday night, King spoke to TV 2 about the recent past. It opened about a difficult period.

– I can’t say too much. I am in contract. But to be honest, it has been the worst two months of my life. But I can’t find a reason

– I could write a book

Without the 28-year-old wanting to get into exactly what happened, he suggested several times in the TV 2 interview that things have happened behind the scenes at the club that have affected him a lot.

– A lot has happened. If he had written a book about what happened in the last two months, it would definitely have been a best seller, he said.

The national team striker, who played about 60 minutes against Northern Ireland, made no secret that he wants to play for another club other than Bournemouth.

– If it had been up to me, I would have already signed for a club, played four games and been in top form, he said.
