– Very unfortunate

Deputy Health Director Espen Rostrup Nakstad understands that young people want to get together and have fun. But they must follow the same tips and rules as everyone else.

– It is not just about small meetings, we are talking about big parties with many dozen participants. It’s very unfortunate, Nakstad tells Dagbladet.

Nakstad says that this type of activity caused large outbreaks in parts of Oslo and in some municipalities.

National measures state that a maximum of ten people must attend private meetings at indoor events. For fixed assigned places, this can be increased to 100 people. A maximum of 50 people can participate in the indoor events for children and young people under 20 years of age, which only bring together participants from the same municipality.

There is a limit of 200 people at outdoor events.
