Tybring-Gjedde aid lawyer harshly against Wara – NRK Norway – Summary of news from different parts of the country

The assistance lawyer believes that Laila Bertheussen should pay a modest compensation of NOK 5,000 to Ingvil Smine’s Tybring-Gjedde. This has been called a symbolic sum.

But on the way he came with a strong shot against both Bertheussen and his teammate Tor Mikkel Wara.

Assistance attorney Hermann Skard says defendant Laila Bertheussen does not have a duty to tell the truth, but that it is different for the partner

Skard addressed Wara’s explanation last Friday. Wara explained on Friday that he had read the text messages between himself and Ingvil Smine’s Tybring-Gjedde on February 5, 2019.

– I tried to help the partner

On this date, Tybring-Gjedde had received a threatening letter, while a similar letter reached Wara and Bertheussen only on February 8.

Wara said in court on Friday that they and Tybring-Gjedde had received a similar letter, and that he responded by saying “we have been invited to the theater” and perceived it as a promotional stunt.

Wara said they perceived it as ridiculous.

– His explanation provoked me. There are only two possible explanations for the fact that Wara can refer to the content of the letter that he had not received. The first possibility that I don’t even dare to think about, the second is that he will stand up and write in court. He couldn’t read this on the SMS exchange, says Skard.

– Did you really think, after everything that had happened, that you were invited to the theater, or were you trying to invent something new at court? She is not wise, but she tried to help her partner, Laila de Lødingen. It is not wise to try to offend Tybring-Gjedde from Ingvil Smine, so you don’t know Ingvil from Tveita, he said.

Think Skard misunderstands

Herman Skard believes that it is suspicious that Wara in the messages to Tybring-Gjedde mentioned a letter that they had not received at the time (he had stopped at the mail).

Wara believes that he was talking about an earlier letter they had received and therefore Skard has not understood it.

– Regarding the letter to which the assistance lawyer referred, Wara can document that Tybring-Gjedde sent the letter to Wara on 5.2.19, and that she reacted as she said in court, says Wara’s assistant lawyer, Vegard Aaløkken to NRK.

NRK has seen messages showing that Wara received a picture of the letter via SMS.

The case also went up last Friday. Skard then wondered why Wara wrote to Smine’s Tybring-Gjedde that the first threatening letter looked as if “we were invited to the theater.”

– You still haven’t received the letter? Skar asked.

– No, but he sent a photo of his letter. That was the letter I commented, which seemed like a promotional stunt and that we had been invited to the theater, Wara said.

– Why does Wara think he responded to Tybring-Gjedde with “we” at a time when he himself had not received the letter?

– Wara has not said that such a message existed. He said he perceived it that way. What he wrote was that it was a promotional stunt, responds Aaløkken.

– Kindness met a fist.

Skard believes that Tybring-Gjedde from client Ingvil Smine was used in conversations on Messenger.

– Ingvil Smine’s Tybring-Gjedde showed empathy and sympathy for Bertheussen, and tried to help her in a difficult situation after “Ways of Seeing” and the attacks on her house. He invited Bertheussen to his home, told him about sick leave and the Hækaveh group. He was nice, but all this kindness was met with a fist. It’s aggravating, Skard said.

He also believes that Bertheussen has misbehaved in court.

– Bertheussen has criticized Ingvil Smine’s Tybring-Gjedde several times. “Parsley leaf” and “frightened goose.” Why do you say that? What is the purpose? It would be natural to show empathy with a victim, not step on them. I interpret it as her acknowledging her own actions and fearing the consequences of these. If the sender is afraid, it is their fault, because it is a parsley leaf, Skard said.

– You can call me “Last house”

Skard also cited letters that reached attorney Elden and the media.

– I know so little about communication that you can call me “Last Home”, but as a private person I am very impressed by how extensive Bertheussen has worked when addressing the media and the Elden Law Firm, Skard said.

The term “Last House” is an obvious reference to Wara working at First House.
