Report to the Eastern Police District. It is not relevant to arrest the man, who left the hotel in Gardermoen on Sunday night.

– We do not arrest people for leaving hotels, but we are content to report, says operations manager Terje Skaftnes in the Eastern police district to NTB.

At 00.50, the police were also notified that a woman in her 60s had escaped from a security guard after arriving at the Oslo airport. Then, according to the police, she was stopped by a car waiting for her before leaving.

The guards called the police when the woman escaped. At 0300 hours, the woman was found by a patrol in Vinterbro. She did not relate to the decision, so she was denounced, Skaftnes tells TV 2.

The Eastern Police District writes on Twitter that the woman was reported for quarantine violations.

The Attorney General stated last year that the level of fines for non-compliance with the quarantine obligation will be NOK 20,000.

As of March 29, anyone arriving in Norway after a so-called “unnecessary” overseas trip must be quarantined in hotels. You must stay there for at least seven days and pay a deductible of NOK 500 per night. So far, it has been possible to try out the hotel after three days, but that’s it.
